Nestled
among the towering oaks and fragrant magnolias of northwest Atlanta is
a special place that is alive and teeming with energy. Something extraordinary
is taking place here. Young lives are being forged to take the helm in
the twenty-first century as leaders and as lights throughout the world.
This special place is The Heiskell School. Here the heartfelt desire of

Academically Challenging
The Heiskell School offers one
of the finest academic programs available at the preschool, elementary,
and junior high levels. Students thrive in the close-knit, family-like
atmosphere created by teachers who masterfully combine both tradition and
innovative teaching methods. Classrooms are animated and inviting.
Teachers tailor their instruction for academically talented students,
guiding bright, curious children toward academic success. An accelerated,
content rich curriculum provides an excellent foundation in phonics and
grammar as well as mathematics, literature, foreign language, science and
history. Students enjoy a superb fine arts program at Heiskell. Our halls
ring with melodic voices and original "masterpieces" adorn the walls,
showcasing the creative talents that abound here. At Heiskell, learning is
a multi-faceted exploration of God's magnificent creation.
The Heiskell School is accredited by
the Southern Association of College and Schools (SACS) as well as the
Georgia Accrediting Commission with Quality, and is a member of the
Association of Christian School International (ACSI), Atlanta Area
Association of Independent Schools (AAAIS), and the Georgia Independent
School Association (GISA).
Spiritually Dynamic
Our outstanding faculty has
been prayerfully selected for their personal faith, Christian character,
distinguished academic background, and commitment to impacting the lives
of students. Heiskell teachers lovingly encourage students to discover the
joy of knowing Jesus Christ personally, nurturing the seeds of faith as
they disciple young hearts. God's Word is woven throughout the fabric of
the students' day. Students discover that Scripture relates to every area
of their lives - their personal relationships, their character, how they

Christian heritage, students follow the history of a nation that has
flourished at God's hand. Then, they "travel the world" through
international studies, learning how they can be a part of God's calling to
be salt and light to all peoples. From Russia to Sri Lanka, England to
Brazil, The Heiskell School welcomes students from many nations. Our
international families "bring" the world to us, giving greater dimension
to our study of the nations and motivating students to use their talents
to impact the world for Christ.
